Hi everybody,
There are two new pieces up at On the pod.net today. In other news, I caught the Fear The State show at The Space in Hamden, CT last week and they were great as always. They're actually hitting the road again, so here's a list of some of their upcoming shows:
| Asbury Park, NJ | |||
| Gaithersburg, MD | |||
| Webster Theatre - WCCC Presents CROSSFADE and Fear The State | Hartford, CT | ||

Three new updates @ On the pod.net
Hey kids,Well...there are three new updates over at www.onthepod.net.
One for the heaviest band on earth...give or take.
The other two have to do with a show that I managed to see yesterday night at what is quickly becoming my favorite place to see a show in Connecticut...The Space in Hamden.
Check them out when you get a chance and go see the show I saw, trust me! You will not leave unhappy that you went.
On the local band front, my friends in Fear the State are playing my new favorite place...The Space, this friday.
Here's the listing from www.thespace.tk:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 6
Fear the State
Chelsea Split
Tour de Force
Kross
Xen
Doors at 7 PM - $10
FEAR THE STATE are New Haven natives that spun out of Gargantua Soul long ago. They have become a local metal mainstay in their own right and are a supremely tight-wound outfit, displaying that perfect mix of professionalism and outright chaos. LISTEN
CHELSEA SPLIT, from Milford, has quickly morphed from a simple Blink-182 cover band to an intricate progressive rock band. Their mentality: "When you have a dream, anything can get accomplished. Our dream is unfolding, and nothing will stop us". LISTEN
TOUR DE FORCE (formerly The Caftan) rounds out the night with a spectrum of rock.
KROSS mixes it up with brash young metal-core and death.
Hamden rock represents with nu-grunge group XEN who deliver growling vocals, heavy-footed guitar, and stomping bass.
I'm going, come on out.
Thanks & keep listening,
Joe
